Management of Common Ailments

Most joint sprains will respond well to one or two days rest with paracetamol and strapping, after which it is beneficial to exercise the joint gently up to the point of pain but not forcing through the pain. If the joint is still tender at this stage strapping at night is more useful than daytime strapping. If symptoms continue you should consult your doctor.
